Storage is only one resource

A site may reach CPU, RAM or process limits before disk space fills up. Ask how each limit is measured and which units apply.

Review processes, files and database limits

Ask about concurrent processes, file counts, databases and email limits where included. File count differs from storage size and may require different action.

Observe usage when issues occur

Compare error logs and resource use with the timing of slowdowns. A scheduled task, plugin or automated traffic may cause load; a larger plan alone may not fix a software issue.

Clarify limit behaviour and upgrades

Ask whether requests are throttled or errors appear, and what alerts are available. Discuss upgrade pricing, migration, timing and management changes before agreeing.
